Position : Project Manager Student ERP Discovery Location : Boston, MA Hybrid must be onsite from day 1 for 3 days per week Duration : 12 Month Visa : USC, GC, GCEAD, H4EAD, OPTEAD Interview : 2 round video interview Must have PMP Project management experience Student information systems experience Workday Student, Banner ERP Financial aid regulations, processes and systems Ideally we are looking for candidates with experience in both Workday and Banner ( or at least has some understanding on banner) Must have Workday student and experience with Financial Aid Banner was also known as Ellucian as well Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field. 7+ years of experience managing IT projects, preferably in higher education or with enterprise systems like Workday. Strong understanding of student information systems (SIS) and their role in enhancing the student experience. Proven experience managing or integrating with Banner ERP systems Familiarity with Financial Aid regulations, processes, and systems. Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally. Experience managing technical teams and vendors. PMP or other relevant project management certification preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Prior experience with Workday Student or other student information systems. Familiarity with higher education processes and requirements. Hands-on experience with Banner ERP, especially in Financial Aid operations and data management. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Ability to lead and motivate others, demonstrating empathy and knowledge of personality types Familiar with project management methodologies (for example, PMI and agile) Demonstrated sensitivity to working in a political environment and to interacting with senior leadership Knowledge of project planning tools Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; expertise in setting and managing customer expectations Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources. Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
