Salesforce Technical Architect (Onsite) Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite) Visa Holders: USC/GC only Contract Interview Details: Job Responsibilities: Lead Salesforce Development Team: Oversee design and development of custom Salesforce solutions (Apex, Visual Force, Salesforce APIs, Lightning, data migration). Guide Junior Developers: Ensure best practices are followed. Work with project managers, clients, and developers to design and execute strategies throughout all phases of development. Adapt to Changing Requirements: Maintain a proactive and flexible approach to quickly respond to evolving project needs. Analyze project objectives and requirements for interfaces, customized applications, and internal Salesforce interactions. Support Team Assistance: Help resolve escalated issues related to internal and customer-facing Salesforce environments. Solution Design: Facilitate design sessions, code reviews, and architectural recommendations. Estimate Work Effort: Provide accurate time estimates for new projects and enhancements. Iterative Development: Participate in all phases of software development lifecycle, including iterative methodologies. Stakeholder Communication: Actively participate in meetings with business and IT units. Deliverables & Accountability: Take responsibility for quality, timeliness, and adherence to specifications. Key Skills & Requirements: Salesforce Expertise: Strong knowledge of Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Partner Communities, B2B Commerce). Technical Proficiency: Apex, VisualForce, Lightning, Java, JavaScript, data modeling, integration, security, and customization. Salesforce Best Practices: Proficient in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Salesforce design standards. Agile Development: Previous experience in Agile environments. Other Tools: Azure DevOps, DX, Tricentis Tosca, Oracle SOA (a plus). Certifications: Salesforce Technical Architect certification (preferred). Education & Experience: o MS in Computer Science with 6+ years as a Salesforce Architect OR o BS in Computer Science with 8+ years as a Salesforce Architect.
