Hello, Greetings from Encore Consulting Services, Inc Job Title: .Net Architect Location: Madison, WI (Local) Duration: Long Term Full Job Description: The Application Architect II / Lead Developer will be responsible for the development and support of high-priority applications in the Division of Employment and Training. You will work with self-directed teams to deliver critical projects, including architecture design, third-party software integration, data conversion, new development, and modifications to existing code. Project work will involve: Application architecture and development. Web services and system integration. Web development using Agile Scrum methodology. Hardware/Software Environment: Languages & Frameworks: VB.NET, C#, Object-Oriented Design, MVC, MVVM, Blazor Framework. Tools: Visual Studio.NET, MS Team Foundation Server, Jira, GitHub. Databases: Oracle PL-SQL. Cloud Platforms: Google Cloud. Additional Comments: Must-Haves (6+ years): Proven leadership in team management, project estimation, and architecture governance. Experience with Microsoft Webforms, MVC, and services development. Ability to evaluate and recommend emerging technologies for solving business problems. Nice-to-Haves: Experience with Blazor and MudBlazor components (2+ years). Previous work in government agencies using Agile, with the flexibility to adapt to government constraints. Broad experience across various technologies, including modern frameworks and microservices (6+ years preferred). Google Cloud and Blazor Framework experience are highly preferred.
