Qualifications Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Data science, with a strong portfolio of projects demonstrating expertise in: Machine learning and predictive modeling Statistical analysis and hypothesis testing Data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) Programming languages such as Python, R, SQL Big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) Experience working with healthcare claims data and social determinants of health data sets. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Proven leadership and team management experience, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical information to non-technical audiences. In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and data privacy standards, ensuring compliance in all analytical activities. Experience in client engagement and relationship management, with strong interpersonal and consultative skills. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges. Familiarity with data governance and quality assurance practices, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data analyses. Qualifications: Experience working with state health and human service agencies. Strong knowledge of Medicaid policy and regulations. Familiarity with advanced analytics tools and platforms (e.g., SAS, STATA). Relevant certifications, such as Certified Data Scientist, Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent. Demonstrated experience in business development activities, including responding to RFPs, authoring white papers, and delivering industry presentations.
