Role: Vulnerability Assessment and Management Location: Pittsburgh, PA- onsite Duration: Contract to Hire Mode: Video Job Details: Role Description: Vulnerability Assessment and Management:Lead vulnerability scanning and management efforts using tools like Rapid7, Nexpose, and CrowdStrike.Conduct vulnerability assessments across all IT environments (on-premises and cloud) and prioritize remediation efforts.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement vulnerability management processes and procedures.Threat Detection & Response:Utilize CrowdStrike to detect and respond to endpoint security threats.Analyze threat intelligence and correlate it with vulnerability data to improve overall security posture.Monitor alerts and incidents, providing rapid response to mitigate risks. Competencies: MSS - Vulnerability Management Experience (Years): 10 & Above Essential Skills: Vulnerability Management SME (Rapid7, Nexpose, CrowdStrike) Desirable Skills: 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on vulnerability management.Proficiency in tools such as Rapid7 InsightVM, Nexpose, and CrowdStrike Falcon.Good to have strong understanding of vulnerability scoring systems and penetration testing methods.Experience in remediating vulnerabilities and working with cross-functional IT and security teams.Knowledge of industry standards such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, and regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA).Familiarity with incident response, threat hunting, and risk assessment processes.Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
