This role focuses on architectural, performance, and functional simulation to model, verify, and optimize AMD hardware designs. Responsibilities: Conduct CPU and GPU architectural simulations to analyze hardware performance. Evaluate performance, power consumption, and thermal characteristics. Verify CPU and GPU functionality using advanced simulation tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in HPC, AI/ML, gaming, and data centers to improve system efficiency and performance. Key Skills: Experience with AMDs internal simulation tools and third-party software like Synopsys, Cadence, and Mentor Graphics.
