Position: Program Manager (Hybrid) Location: Chicago, IL (3 days Onsite/Week) Duration : 6+ months Note ---- Local candidate Only Job Description : About the job JOB SUMMARY FOR PROGRAM MANAGER: The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring that all stages of development are executed efficiently and effectively. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions while maintaining adherence to project budgets and timelines. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a strategic mindset, enabling them to navigate complex projects and drive product excellence in a dynamic environment. RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PROGRAM MANAGER: Oversee, plan, and manage the product development stages, approving the product at each stage. Create detailed project plans at each product development stage for maximum efficiency. Provide innovative ideas and solutions during product development initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Track relevant metrics and develop reports to communicate development progress to senior managers, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders. Collaborate with software architects, engineers, system engineers, developers, and product teams to ensure successful project outcomes. Identify and incorporate cross-team dependencies into the program planning process. Diagnose and resolve technical issues as they arise, offering potential solutions. Ensure product development and delivery are achievable within the designated budget and timeframe. Oversee the product deployment process and assist in integration as needed. Adjust product development processes based on performance metrics and feedback. Stay current with advancements in the product category and industry trends. Ensure compliance with industry standards by documenting processes and making necessary adjustments. Manage project escalations and assist in assembling project teams as required. Maintain project plans and introduce technical programs to support product management teams. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR PROGRAM MANAGER: Bachelors degree in technology management, business administration, computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical program management or a related role. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR PROGRAM MANAGER: Proven leadership experience in product planning, management, and project management. Experience in recording and evaluating product performance metrics with the ability to report findings to C-level executives and senior management. Strong ability to manage project timelines, prioritize tasks, and align teams effectively. Familiarity with product deployment and integration processes is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills to address technical challenges as they occur. Strategic thinking and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders. Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
