Title: Network Engineer Location: Ashburn, VA 20146 Contract C2C/w2/1099 Only USC GC GCEAD H4EAD Must have InfiniBand n etwork in resume About The Role : Plan and implement InfiniBand n etwork configurations tailored to meet the organization's high-performance computing requirements Configure and fine-tuning InfiniBand switches, routers, adapters, and other hardware components to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability within the network infrastructure Implement security measures and protocols to safeguard sensitive data transmitted over the InfiniBand network, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational security policies. Monitor network performance and address connectivity issues to maintain optimal uptime for the InfiniBand network including troubleshooting technical problems efficiently and effectively Collaborate with hardware and software vendors to evaluate new InfiniBand technologies and recommend enhancements to existing infrastructure based on industry trends and best practices Script reusable templates to automate configuration of devices and network architecture using Python Required : 5+ years proven experience working with InfiniBand technology in enterprise or Lab environments. Industry certifications such as InfiniBand Trade Association (IBTA) certifications, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or equivalent are a plus.
