DETAILS The State of Wisconsin seeks a SharePoint Systems Administrator IV to provide administrative support for SharePoint environments (on-premise and SharePoint Online) and related systems. Responsibilities include system upgrades, Power scripting, SharePoint migrations, and creating governance models. The position is primarily responsible for research, development, support, and management of the on-premises Enterprise SharePoint Farm server infrastructure and the Enterprise O365 SharePoint online environment. Duties include: Administering SharePoint 2016, O365 SharePoint Online, and hybrid environments. Leading technical governance efforts and coaching agency admins on best practices. Managing third-party tools (Bluebeam, DocAve, Sharegate). Providing Power scripting for automation and reporting. Leading governance meetings and customer advisory group sessions. Collaborating on shared infrastructure designs and disaster recovery plans. Goals and Worker Activities (provided for reference; not factored into sourcing): 35% A. Provide advanced technical support and direction for the Enterprise SharePoint Farm infrastructure, SharePoint Online, and the O365 SharePoint hybrid environment. A1. Research, install, test, implement and troubleshoot enterprise SharePoint 2016, O365 SharePoint Online and Hybrid SharePoint Environment. A2. Serve as a SharePoint farm admininistrator for all agencies within the state. A3. Install, configure, and administer 3rd Party tools like Bluebeam, DocAve, Control Point, Sharegate, Nintex, Plumsail,and Muhimbi, when necessary. A4. Maintain installed systems and infrastructure necessary to support these environments on an ongoing basis to remain at recommended release level and to resolve problems to maintain system stability. A5. Perform tasks necessary for maintaining the SharePoint Farm: Configure App Catalog, App Management, Workflow Farm, Office Web App (OWA) Farm. Manage User Profile Connections for both windows and Form-Based Authentication. Deploy custom developed and third-party SharePoint solution packages. Configure On-Prem Search, Hybrid Search, Managed Metadata, SSRS, PerformancePoint. Create Intranet & Extranet, Configure SSL Certificates, Authentication, F5, and Reverse Proxy. A6. Lead and participate in the development, documentation, and implementation of IT management best practices to ensure the quality of services delivered to customers and partners. A7. Apply Windows patches and SharePoint updates to the servers in the SharePoint Farm, ensuring the SharePoint environment is patched in the proper order and method to avoid system issues and maintain overall server stability and security. A8. Monitor SQL Cluster Performance. A9. Write Power Scripts for reporting and day-to-day task automation. A10. Monitor performance of all SharePoint systems and provide reporting. A11. Manage and audit security for SharePoint farm, web applications, sites and sub-sites. A12. Generate Monthly Billing Report and other Audit reports. A13. Lead the Governance group meetings and Customer Advisory Group meetings. A14. Keep SharePoint configuration and architecture documents updated. A15. Research software and hardware enhancements to improve SharePoint Farm and site performance for team review. 35% B. Provide shared infrastructure consulting support. B1. Lead meetings with agency customers to review and understand their requirements as they relate to the enterprise shared IT infrastructure systems. B2. Evaluate agency data communication needs and make to recommendations regarding planned projects requiring enterprise shared IT infrastructure systems, to enable customers to make the best use of the shared infrastructure to meet their program needs. B3. Provide technical analysis and advice to agency customers to allow them to successfully plan for changes to enterprise shared IT infrastructure system configurations. B4. Analyze agency service requests and develop detailed technical designs, as needed and within standards and budgets, to meet their objectives. B5. Participate in statewide or enterprise task forces or committees working on shared IT infrastructure system related issues. B6. Facilitate meetings with agency customers to understand their disaster recovery requirements and recommend alternatives that relate to the enterprise shared IT infrastructure systems DR recovery strategies 10% C.
