Job Title: Software Development Java Engineer Location: Redmond, WA Onsite Near by relocation works Any visa Must have Banking/financial Domain in current Financial Industry Background: Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management. Key Responsibilities: Design and Implement Communications Components, Applications, and Services: Develop and maintain critical components and services that enable global broadband access. Collaboration: Partner with Satellite, Networks, and Security engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and operation. Software Development: Work on e-Commerce functions using AWS infrastructure, implementing best practices for software development. End-to-End Development: Develop code, build CI/CD pipelines, create test automation, and set up monitoring dashboards for system health. Solution Building: Collaborate with engineers across the organization to gather requirements, design, develop, deploy, and operate critical software. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of Professional Software Development Experience: Non-internship experience in software development. 2+ years of Design or Architecture Experience: Non-internship experience in design patterns, reliability, and scaling of new and existing systems. Programming Language: Proficiency in at least one programming language, with a focus on Java. Experience in Managing Java-Based SDKs and AWS Development: Proven experience with API design, JSON, and AWS-based tools and services. Must-Have Skills: Java Programming Language: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java programming and MVC Frameworks. Object-Oriented Application Design & Development: At least 5 years of experience in designing and developing applications using object-oriented principles. Application Design: 5 years of experience in application design, including API creation (Restful web services, GraphQL), and knowledge of AWS API Gateway. Financial Industry Background: Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management. Database Management: Proficient in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL for procedural querying, reports, triggers, and stored procedures. Web Services: Experience with both REST and SOAP for web services. ETL and Financial Data Management: Understanding of ETL processes and data conversion, especially within financial domains. Nice-to-Have Skills: Oracle Financial Services (EBS): Advanced understanding of financial applications and accounting solutions, including compliance and financial reporting. AWS Cloud Native Skills and Tooling: Intermediate proficiency in AWS services and tools, contributing to scalable and secure application development. Preferred Qualifications: Full Software Development Life Cycle Experience: 3+ years of experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science: Or an equivalent qualification.
