Position: OpenText Exstream Developer (Hybrid) Location: Pasadena, CA (2-3 days onsite) Duration : 6 months Job Description : Position Summary: The Exstream Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining document composition applications using OpenText Exstream. This role requires a deep understanding of Exstream capabilities and the ability to create efficient, scalable, and maintainable solutions that meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain document composition applications using OpenText Exstream. Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. Create and modify Exstream templates, workflows, and scripts to support business needs. Optimize Exstream applications for performance and scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to document generation and output management. Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures in all development activities. Provide technical support and training to end-users and other team members. Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates in OpenText Exstream and other relevant technologies. Participate in code reviews and ensure the quality and security of developed solutions. Document development processes, procedures, and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with OpenText Exstream (formerly known as Client Exstream). Proficient in UNIX or scripting Strong knowledge of document composition concepts and practices. Proficient in Exstream Design Manager, Live Editor, and other related components. Experience with Exstream scripting and template design. Familiarity with data integration and transformation processes. Understanding of XML, XSLT, and related technologies. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other customer communication management (CCM) platforms. Knowledge of SQL and database management. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Certification in OpenText Exstream or related technologies.
