Senior Java Developer Okemos, Michigan Hybrid Local to MI only Must have recent experience with Telecommunication domain We are looking for a skilled Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, particularly in Java and .NET, with a focus on building and integrating web services and IVR applications. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement robust Java applications and middleware solutions. - Integrate telephony systems with various computer systems using REST, SOAP, VXML, SQL, and XML. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create advanced IVR applications that enhance user experience. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SIP-based VoIP traffic and integrate diverse telephony systems. - Contribute to the development and management of speech recognition systems and grammars. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development and system integration. - Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and web services. - Knowledge of PBX architecture, telecommunication network services, and contact center operations. - Familiarity with Genesys Cloud is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
