Role: Python Developer with AWS Location: Waltham, MA or Malvern, PA or Charlotte, NC(Only Locals) Duration: Contract Experience: 10+ years Visa: Only H1B with Passport Number Role Description: Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features. Implement and manage AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and API Gateway. Automate deployment processes using AWS tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform. Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and reliability. Write clean, efficient, and reusable Python code following best practices. Develop APIs and integrate third-party services using AWS Lambda and API Gateway. Manage data pipelines and processing tasks using AWS Glue, Kinesis, or similar services. Monitor cloud infrastructure and troubleshoot issues to ensure a smooth operational environment. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in Python development. Strong understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and API Gateway. Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like AWS CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform. Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and microservices using Python frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline. Solid understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (EKS is a plus). Familiarity with serverless computing and event-driven architectures on AWS. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues in cloud-based environments. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
