Job Title: Oracle Hyperion Consultant Duration: Contract Location: Fremont, CA (Onsite) Minimum 11 Years of experience required. We are seeking a candidate who has substantial experience in ESSbase and PBCS. Job Description: The client is one of the prestigious top fortune 500 companies in the business of social media. The candidate will work as a technical support engineer on the Oracle Hyperion products suite. The candidate should have a solid experience in the area of Enterprise Performance Management, Budgeting, Planning, Essbase, DRMEDMCS and FDMEE. Minimum of 10+ years of Application development and Support experience in Hyperion EPM version 11 or above within a Fortune 500 company is required. The technologies being used in the current engagement are Oracle Hyperion EPM (EPBCS), Hyperion Planning, Essbase (BSOASO), FDMEEODI, Essbase Studio, SmartView, IBM Cognos Command Center is a must. Works closely and collaborates with Oracle global support to resolve Customer's SRs. Works with various functions within Business user groups to ensure RCA is complete and incidents SLAs are met Triage and resolve user support issues. Monitoring performance, logs, backups, events, applications, scripts jobs Skills Required: Extensive hands-on experience in the following modules of Oracle Hyperion: 1. EPBCS 2. Essbase 3. EDMCS 4. FDMEE 5. Data Management/Data exchange 6. Smartview 7. IBM Cognos Command center 8. Narrative Reporting preferred 9. TRCS preferred 10. Oracle Fusion Suite module knowledge is preferred 11. PL SQL Knowledge of EPM Automate; scripting a plus (Batch, Python, and Groovy). Experience with all aspects of the system Support, testing, development, and Pre Post implementation activities across the Hyperion product suite. Ensure smooth month-end close and forecast Budget cycles through close partnership with Finance and IT business partners. Troubleshooting integration and data issue across various Hyperion applications and boundary systems. Experience with the functional and technical and operational aspects of Oracle EPM Cloud and/or Oracle Hyperion (on-prem) ESSBASE, FDMEE, reports suite products: application design, development of various application artifacts such as forms and rules, testing, pre- and post-implementation activities across the Hyperion/EPM product suite (cloud and on-prem). Experience integrating EPM with other systems using Data Management, Data Exchange and FDMEE, etc. Experience in interacting with business users to analyze the business process and discovering requirements. Ability to maintain Optimum availability of EPM Environments. Ability to create, monitor, and migrate product-related application artifacts proactively. Deep functional knowledge around financial systems and processes. Strong problem-solving skills (from an Applications/Functional/Operational perspective) with the ability to exercise mature judgment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and master unfamiliar concepts quickly with little supervision. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization, implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussions or review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations). To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and closure of escalations.
