The qualified Business Analyst (5) will: 1. Take a lead role in managing a team of business analysts working on a major project to develop an online permitting system. 2. Support the fundamental functions and business processes of the organization. 3. Lead facilitated workshops and other creative methods for requirements analysis. 4. Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to analyze business reviews for new development and updated features. 5. Collaborate with the development team to ensure requirements are understood and to resolve any discrepancies among development, business analysts, and the business. 6. Assist with developing report specifications for various reports, including those to describe complex business processes, understand system/application data, project progress, identified system issues, etc., by defining the purpose of a report, its justification, attributes and columns, owners, and runtime parameters. 7. Develop a Requirements Traceability Matrix to record requirements through each stage of the requirements-gathering process. 8. Have strong organization and writing skills. 9. Demonstrate strong communication skills for working with a diverse audience of users and team members.
