Platform Developer Location: Remote(9 AM - 5 PM CST) Visa: USC & GC MOI: Video interview Duration: 6+ months Must Haves: 1) Kubernetes 2) AWS 3) CI/CD pipelines 4) C# experience (added on 9/13) embedded team member to join our Developer Platform team. They will participate in our agile ceremonies and coordinate with the team to share responsibilities. Their primary task will be monitoring our support channel and handling requests that come from developers to our developer platform team. They'll pick up reactive work items such as troubleshooting our platform features, fixing defects, or adding support for new things. They will also guide and pair with developer teams to release new features or functionality, particularly in areas with platform tooling the teams are unfamiliar with. They will seek guidance and learn from the rest of the team where needed but will also have the opportunity to teach and guide our team. They must have experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and CICD pipelines. Ideally, they have experience with AWS EKS, ArgoCD, and Azure DevOps pipelines. Job Description: We are seeking an embedded team member to join our Developer Platform team. This role involves full participation in our agile ceremonies and collaboration with the team on our shared responsibilities. The successful candidate will have the following expectations: Responsibilities Agile: Two-week sprints and tracking work via work items within Azure DevOps Feature Work: Proactive feature work aligned with our platform roadmap and reactive work items such as troubleshooting our platform features, fixing defects, or adding support for requested features Support: Rotating Slack channel support requests and on-call duties Release Support: Assist with frequent daytime rolling releases and infrequent after-hours releases with downtime Culture Developer Collaboration: Guide and pair with developer teams to release new features or functionality, particularly in areas where platform tooling is unfamiliar Experience - Required Kubernetes, AWS, and CI/CD pipeline proficiency. Ideal proficiency with AWS EKS, ArgoCD, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
