Reach me at [email protected]) if you want to apply for the below role: Position Mainframe Support Lead Location: San Bernardino, CA Type : Long term Job Description and Requirements: Mainframe support: Supporting Inventory Management(ICOMS), a Mainframe application in SBM. Understand requirements and specifications from Business Analyst & end-users Analyse , design , debug , test , develop and deploy changes in production based on the User requirements. Managing end to end service delivery for the Application Support team including 2 members Offshore team. Responsible for Several Iterations of Coding, Compilation, Application Build and Unit testing and delivery of Assigned Modules Assist Post-delivery support and troubleshoot current Mainframe environment problems Enhance and maintain the existing mainframe applications programs/jobs. Interact/ collaborate with other application teams for the new changes and enhancements. Do analysis and provided resolution for production issues opened in Incident Management. Conduct the monthly business review meetings to demonstrate current active projects and progress to the Client. Actively Participate on the CAB approval meetings for new change implementation. Production implementation plan creation and implementation of project. Project Post implementation support and 24/7 on call production support. Troubleshoot and resolve Ad-hoc issues in the system. Use Service now effectively to create and maintain the change requests, service requests and incidents. Holiday readiness activities like Special Price change schedules and reporting. Application Support: Supporting Warehouse Management Systems (Triceps), which is a Unix based application Analyse the complex problems to find its root cause When the warehouse Management System (WMS) applications malfunction. Create and maintain the documentation that supports the following Warehouse Management applications (Vendor Applications) Create and maintain the knowledge Base articles for better application support activities. Work and coordinate with Vendor teams for change, enhancement, testing & deployment. Run UNIX commands, scripting to test and maintain the existing WMS applications. Training the Offshore support person on the applications. Troubleshoot the problems reported by the users from warehouse. Use Service now effectively to create and maintain the change requests, service requests and incidents. Conduct periodic Distribution connect meeting with the warehouse supervisors and stakeholders to understand their problems and work with the IT department to resolve the problems.
