Experience writing queries and creating intricate semantic models. Familiarity with SSRS and similar reporting tools. Preferred Experience: Experience in Microsoft BI stack with Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS. Familiarity with scripting and programming. Some knowledge of UI/UX development. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Sound logical and analytical reasoning skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Effective time management and organizational skills. Responsibilities: Report Development: Design, develop, and deploy custom reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI that meet business requirements and provide actionable business insights. Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business intelligence requirements, translating them into technical specifications and useful reports. Data Modeling: Connect Power BI with various data sources and services, including SQL Server, Oracle, SAP BW, Salesforce, and SharePoint. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Power BI reports and dashboards, including troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements. Best Practices: Adhere to best practices in Power BI development, including data modeling standards, security, and visual optimization. Collaboration: Work closely with other developers, project managers, and business analysts to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business goals.
