Role: Lead Python Developer with java Location: San Antonio, TX (Only Locals) Duration: Contract Experience: 10+ years Note: P&C insurance domain in Recent project is must Visa: Only H1B with passport Number Role Description: Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions using Python and Java. Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to design scalable systems for the P&C insurance domain. Architect and develop APIs, data pipelines, and integrations with third-party services. Oversee code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure best practices are followed across the team. Work closely with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure system scalability and security. Design and optimize database schemas, ensuring data integrity and performance. Translate complex insurance business requirements into technical solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs, performance issues, and production incidents. Stay updated on the latest technologies, trends, and best practices, and implement them in the development process. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of hands-on experience with Python development. Proficiency in Java with 4+ years of experience. Strong experience in developing software solutions for the P&C insurance domain. Experience with API development, web services, and microservices architecture. Solid understanding of database design and management (SQL/NoSQL). Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Proven ability to lead and mentor a development team. Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
