The CRM Development team is focused on building solutions to support the Broker Sales and Service Customer business domains around our Member, Provider, Broker, and Employer portal solutions. As an IT Software Engineer the selected contractor will be responsible for developing and supporting solutions to advance these business domains utilizing mobile, web, cloud, and API technologies. They will leverage their development knowledge and experience to guide internal and external developers to solve complex business problems. The Software Engineer will work independently or with a group of developers and with other subject matter experts to help design and build solutions for web and portal applications. Responsibilities: Define, analyze, and review business, system requirements, and technical requirements and prioritize tasks. Write clean, testable code using Java programming languages, Mulesoft APIs and open source technologies like Angular and React. Work with Azure Dev Ops, GIT and Pipelines. Document development and operational procedures including implementing monitoring solutions. Leverage industry standards and best practices for software development, including automated integration, test driven development, reusable code, object-oriented design, and software configuration management. Facilitate code reviews, unit testing, peer reviews and partner with QA to document test criteria. Required Qualifications: Advanced working knowledge and skill of function obtained from degree studies. Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience, plus 7 years of working experience beyond degree. Strong .Net and/or Java developer experience. API development experience using MuleSoft. Experience with Salesforce. Agile Troubleshooting abilities and Good communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience in one of the Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) with end to end application building, source controlling and deployment. In-depth knowledge writing SQL queries for Oracle or SQL Server.
