From: dhamodharan, smartitframe [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Hi All Job Title: Principal Engineer App Modernization and Cloud Execution Engineers Location: Charlotte, NC, New Jersey, NJ and Dallas, TX, Phoenix, AZ, St Louse, MO (Onsite) Contract Job Summary: Working with the LOB business leaders, application managers, Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Infrastructure Architects, and project teams to create and implement common and reusable solution architecture components. Working with project teams to execute migration to hybrid cloud environments (Azure, GCP, PCF, AKS, GKE) Working with project teams to execute modernization of our application portfolio: CI/CD adoption, automated testing, improved application monitoring, creation of microservices, etc. Provide technology leadership to project teams and product owners tied to enhancements and new functionality Ability to collaborate with a team of architects to create and implement solution architecture components while working closely with LOB partners, CTOs and Application managers. Conducts complex technology and system assessments for architecture solutions Ensures applications adhere to established Wells Fargo standards, policies, methodologies and industry best practices. Participates in the definition of future technology architecture and strategy. Stays abreast of emerging technologies and capabilities in order to prepare and respond to customer needs and expectations. Understands compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas. Required Qualifications 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 5+ years experience in API design, Microservices and domain driven design 5+ years experience to Cloud implementations and design, as well as integration between Cloud environments (on-prem and off-prem) Azure and GCP Exposure to modern application architecture principles Exposure to agile tooling: CI/CD Pipelines, Maven, Jenkins, Jira, Github, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible 7+ years of experience designing software solutions using software architecture design principles 5+ years of experience designing and or developing integration solutions Desired Qualifications Experience in one or a combination of the following: systems, applications, or architecture planning Experience in API design, Microservices and domain driven design Exposure to Cloud implementations and design, as well as integration between Cloud environments (on-prem and off-prem) Exposure to agile tooling: CI/CD pipelines, Maven, Jenkins, Jira Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships 3+ year of experience using an industry standard modeling language Ability to interact with all levels of an organization Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Knowledge and understanding of relational databases Knowledge and understanding of data governance challenges and approaches: metadata, data quality, and data stewardship Knowledge and understanding of technology governance Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams 5+ Experience in the financial industry business and technology landscapes.
