Remote on Monday and Friday ( Hybrid ) No Relocation ( Dallas, TX Candidates also prefer with DL ) MOI - 1-2 rounds of Interview Duration - 12 Months Job Summary - This is for a Wintel Administrator, for at least 6 months. (Windows and Linux) Day to Day: Handle Troubleshooting tickets, Support the Databases, Patching Linux/Windows servers, VMWare, Performance tuning, troubleshoot performance issues, handle account creation, troubleshoot email flow. Any CLOUD experience is a plus: AWS, AZURE, etc. Supporting 600-700 servers.....person should come from a minimum of 300 server environment. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors or Technical Degree Required (computer science, business administration or other industry related curriculum Experience o5+ years or more administrative experience in an environment supporting Microsoft Windows with more than 300 production servers o3+ years or more administrative experience in an environment supporting Linux operating system o5+ years of experience supporting and tuning VMware Virtual Infrastructures o5+ years of experience supporting and tuning server hardware platforms such as: Cisco UCS, Dell, HP o3+ years of experience using patch management solution such as Microsoft SCCM o2+ years of experience supporting cloud infrastructures such as: Azure, AWS o2+ years of experience supporting and tuning administration software and tools such as: SolarWinds, SCOM Preferred Qualifications Qualifications also include: Specialized knowledge Operating Systems Microsoft, Linux Hypervisor VMWare Server Manufactures HP, Dell, Cisco, IBM Cloud providers Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS Knowledge of remote server management and design concepts Scripting Languages Power Knowledge of network components (WAN and LAN) Working knowledge of storage and data protection technologies Skills Understands a wide variety of systems and how they interact to provide a complete service to the customers and meet business requirements Administration Software and Tools: SolarWinds, System Center Operations Manager, Office 365 Administration, HP OneView, vRealize Operations Configuration management software: Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager, VCenter, Ansible Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
