Job Description Technical Communications for our tool-of-record for cost estimation, capacity planning, timesheet-charging, capitalization-tracking, and financials - all the efforts that support the CTIO organization. Professional Documentation Prepare instruction manuals, how-to guides, and other supporting documents to communicate complex and technical information in easy-to-interpret guides. Research and create communications that explain the use and illustrate the business value achievable. Interview subject matter experts to learn and communicate their unique takes on the tool of record. Responsible for the creation of documentation for existing and proposed business processes, systems, functional/technical specifications, as well as the facilitation of sessions with Stakeholders. Evaluates technical employees and identifies areas needing improvement. Assesses internal customer requirements and evaluates and documents workable solutions. Ability to document workflow to support development roadmap. Prepares functional and technical requirements for new systems and updates to existing systems. Develops and maintains user documentation and instructions for all systems for which he or she is responsible. Defines processing logic and translates high level business requirements into detailed functional and technical design documents. Determines system utilization requirements by researching and testing systems. Understands business initiatives to deliver solutions and provides recommendations in support of business objectives. Executive Communication/Writing Sample required. Continuous Training Creates technical training programs according to requirements. Artificial Intelligence (AI) knowledge is a plus. Train on and distribute instruction manuals, how-to guides, and other supporting documents to communicate complex and technical information in easy-to-interpret guides. Train on and distribute functional and technical requirements for new systems and updates to existing systems. Reports data on completed courses, issues, and absences. Determines overall effectiveness of programs and training by listening to feedback and making improvements, as necessary. Conducts computer training needs assessment by collecting information on employee skillsets. Provides training schedules and agendas and determines course content and objectives.
