Microservices Technical Lead

Location:
Cincinnati,
OH or Nashville, TN (Only Locals)

Duration:
Contract

Experience:
10+ years

Visa: Only H1B with Passport Number

Role Description:

Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable, maintainable
microservices architecture.

Lead technical decisions for microservices,
including API design and service integration.

Mentor and provide guidance to development teams on
microservices best practices.

Collaborate with DevOps to build CI/CD pipelines and
automate deployments.

Monitor application performance, identify
bottlenecks, and optimize services.

Ensure secure coding practices and implement
security at the service level.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product,
QA, stakeholders) to meet project goals.

Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards
across the team.

Guide the adoption of modern technologies and
approaches to improve development efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science,
Software Engineering, or related field.

7+ years of software development experience.

3+ years of experience working with microservices
architecture.

Proven leadership experience guiding technical teams
in microservices projects.

Expertise in microservices using technologies like
Spring Boot, Node.js, .NET Core, or Go.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other
containerization tools.

Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, messaging
queues, and event-driven architecture.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation.

Knowledge of performance monitoring tools like
Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.

Understanding of secure coding practices and
distributed system security.
