DataDog System Engineer Location: Primarily remote in Reston, VA, or DC. Candidates must be within a commutable distance. Duration: 12 months Visa: USC & GC only Interview process: 2 rounds of video interviews Onsite in Reston, VA, or DC, 1-2 times a month for meetings or needed Summary: seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support consolidating FEPOCs monitoring systems into DataDog to monitor mostly Java-based applications. Some of the projects include the migration of log management from Nagios to DataDog, network device monitoring and network performance monitoring from SolarWinds to DataDog, Synthetic monitoring from CloudBeat to DataDog, and a few more upcoming DataDog-related implementation/migration projects. The hired resource will primarily be responsible for log management, network monitoring, and synthetic monitoring but may also include dashboard creation and cloud monitoring. completed its Infrastructure and Application Performance Management of DataDog and is now consolidating different monitoring tools and moving to the AWS cloud.
