Role: Solution Architect Experience : 12+ Years Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6 months Required skills: SCADA Systems Design Engineering experience, System development, cybersecurity Job Description Develop and maintain the architectural vision and strategy for National Grids technology, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices. Lead the design of scalable, robust, and secure IT solutions that meet business requirements and support National Grids strategic goals. Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to determine their potential impact on National Grids business and technology landscape. Provide recommendations for adoption where appropriate. Establish and enforce architectural standards, policies, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency and quality across all technology initiatives. Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to understand requirements, develop solutions, and drive success " SCADA Systems Design Engineering experience in Planning, implementing, modifying, and evaluating SCADA software and systems System deployment: Configuring existing systems and planning the deployment of devices, computers, and instruments in a Scada environment. System performance: Analyzing system performance and suggesting or making improvements System security: Implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures In depth knowledge and project design experience with SCADA Systems and Telecommunications with end-to-end responsibility.
