Position: Network Administrator Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6+ Months Job Description: Responsibilities: As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing the network infrastructure Level 2 support, someone who wants to grow into level 3 support MUST have excellent customer service skills, ensuring tickets are promptly addressed and not left unresolved for extended periods You will work with a team of IT professionals to troubleshoot network issues, enhance network performance, and support the overall IT environment for the company This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in networking and a passion for ensuring seamless connectivity looking to grow their technical skills. Configure, install, and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls Environment: Cisco Routers models 9200/9300, wireless is 9120s AXE moving to 9120 AXIs and Palo Alto PA-440 equipment. Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal security Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and configuration issues from their ServiceNow ticketing systems Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, and network security protocols Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement new network solutions Maintain documentation on network configurations and provide support to end-users. Perform routine network maintenance tasks such as backups and updates Ensure compliance with security protocols and network best practices MUST HAVES: 5 to 10 years of experience as a Network Administrator Strong understanding of networking protocols, security practices, and hardware Experience with network hardware such as firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs have Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Please share your updated resume and suggest the best number & time to connect with you.
