Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively simplify and convey technical risk issues to non-technical stakeholders. Capital Markets experience is highly desirable. Collaborative team player with a passion for IT risk and adaptability to dynamic environments. Proficiency in Archer is a valuable asset. Job Description: Lead the assessment and ongoing monitoring of non-technical risk processes and control operations across the bank, with a focus on areas such as compliance, AML, HR, legal, fraud, and operational risk. Develop, implement, and maintain policies and standards to effectively manage non-financial risks, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Work closely with business lines to identify, assess, and mitigate non-financial risks, ensuring strong control environments are established and continuously monitored. Partner with compliance, legal, and regulatory teams to stay updated on new regulations and changes to existing laws, analyzing their impact on the banks non-financial risk framework and operations. Facilitate the creation and execution of risk mitigation strategies, control enhancements, and corrective actions in response to identified risks, audit findings, or regulatory reviews. Conduct regular audits and reviews of business processes and controls to ensure adherence to established policies, standards, and regulatory obligations. Provide expert advice and support to business units in managing their non-financial risk responsibilities. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and relevant committees, outlining the status of non-financial risks, control effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. Required Skills: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CRISC, CAMS) are preferred. 3-5 years (5-7 years for senior roles) of experience in risk management within the banking or financial services industry, with a proven ability to assess processes and control operations. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to Compliance, AML, HR, Legal, Fraud, and Operational Risk. Proven ability to design and implement effective risk management policies and control frameworks. Additional Desired Qualifications: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with attention to detail and the ability to address complex risk and control challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Expertise in risk assessment methodologies and tools, with experience in conducting thorough reviews and audits of business processes and controls. Strategic mindset, with the ability to anticipate regulatory changes and adapt the banks non-financial risk management practices accordingly. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and initiatives simultaneously.
