Position: Product Owner Location: Kansas City Metropolitan Area (Onsite Role) Visa : USC/GC 12 Month Contract Required Skills & Experience - Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management. - Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts. -ADO (Azure DevOps) or Jira for writing user stories. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Experience working with offshore and onshore teams. - Ability to manage multiple PODs and prioritize tasks effectively. - Familiarity with UI/UX principles and best practices. - Must understand and use the INVEST methodology - Comfortable working on site 4 days a week Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be proficient in writing user stories using ADO (Azure DevOps) or Jira. You will work closely with our development team, offshore leads, onshore technical SMEs, and UI/UX teams across all PODs to ensure the successful delivery of our products. The product is a web based application with 14 modules. The team works in 2 week sprints with quarterly deliverables. - User Story Development: Write clear, concise, and comprehensive user stories in ADO or Jira. - Technical Collaboration: Leverage your technical background to effectively communicate with development teams and ensure technical feasibility. - Team Coordination: Work with offshore leads and onshore technical SMEs to align on project goals and deliverables. - Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with UI/UX teams across all PODs to ensure a seamless user experience. - POD Management: Support 1-2 PODs, ensuring they have the necessary resources and guidance to succeed.
