Design and develop Power BI data models, including data cleansing, transformation, and integration from various sources. Create visually compelling and interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service. Implement best practices for data visualization and storytelling to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders. Optimize Power BI performance by fine-tuning queries, data models, and report layouts. Provide training and support to users on Power BI functionality and best practices. Stay updated on latest Power BI features, trends, and best practices to continuously improve our Power BI solutions. Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to ensure data integrity, security, and governance within the Power BI environment. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Power BI development and deployment. Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization in existing Power BI solutions. Qualifications: Exp:8+yrs Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Statistics, or related field. Proven experience working as a Power BI Developer or Consultant, with strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service. Solid understanding of data analysis concepts and techniques, with experience in data modeling and ETL processes. Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M (Power Query Formula Language) for advanced data manipulation and calculations. Experience with SQL and relational databases, as well as cloud-based data platforms such as Azure SQL Database and Azure Synapse Analytics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable insights. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non technical stakeholders. Familiarity with plug-ins/connectors with Jira Power BI certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) is a plus.
