Please review our job opening below and kindly send us the updated resume ASAP along with the details of consultants; Please add [email protected] in your distribution list Role :: ArcGIS Tester Location :: Charlotte, NC ( Hybrid onsite ) Duration :: 12 Months Rate :: $50 on C2C Test Planning & Execution : Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate GIS applications, ensuring functionality and performance. Quality Assurance : Perform both manual and automated testing of ArcGIS applications, services, and data layers to ensure data accuracy and system reliability. Bug Identification & Reporting : Identify, track, and report software defects or inconsistencies in ArcGIS features, tools, and workflows, working closely with developers for resolution. Integration Testing : Conduct tests to ensure smooth integration of ArcGIS with other software systems and databases. Test Automation : Build and maintain test automation scripts for GIS applications using appropriate tools and frameworks. Performance Testing : Test system performance, load, and scalability by simulating various scenarios and user loads to assess system limitations. Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive testing documentation, including test results, defect logs, and performance reports. Collaboration : Work closely with GIS developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure the system meets user expectations. Data Validation : Validate and verify spatial data (e.g., shapefiles, geodatabases) for accuracy, completeness, and proper geospatial referencing. Regression Testing : Perform regression tests on ArcGIS upgrades, patches, or system changes to ensure continued functionality. Qualifications: Required : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, GIS, Geography, or a related field. Proven experience as a tester or QA specialist, particularly with ArcGIS software (e.g., ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online). Strong understanding of GIS concepts, spatial data, and mapping tools. Proficiency in using ArcGIS for testing and troubleshooting issues related to layers, geospatial data, and cartographic outputs. Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies and tools. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to document test cases, write bug reports, and provide comprehensive test summaries.
