Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain test frameworks for APIs and microservices using Java 1.8/11 and Spring Framework. Write clear and effective Gherkin syntax-based acceptance tests aligned with business requirements. Perform REST API testing using tools like Postman or Insomnia, ensuring the robustness of backend services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical tasks and test cases. Implement and maintain TDD practices to drive high-quality software development. Utilize Git or other version control systems to manage code and collaborate efficiently within an Agile workflow. Adhere to SDLC processes and contribute to Agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery of features. Required Skills and Experience: Advanced proficiency in Java (1.8/11) and Spring Framework. Strong experience with JBehave for writing and executing behavior-driven tests. Hands-on expertise with REST API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia). Proficient in Gherkin syntax for acceptance testing. Solid understanding of SDLC processes and Agile methodologies. Strong knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git) for collaborative development. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
