Job Title: AWS Data Engineering Architect or AWS Data Architect Key Responsibilities: Data Harmonization: Develop and implement data harmonization strategies to ensure consistency and accuracy across diverse data sources. Identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring data integrity and reliability. JSON Preferred Communication: Utilize JSON as the preferred format for data communication and integration. Design and maintain robust APIs for seamless data exchange using JSON. Data Cataloging: Develop and manage a comprehensive data catalog to facilitate data discovery, lineage tracking, and metadata management. Ensure data assets are well-documented and accessible to relevant stakeholders. Data Governance: Implement data governance frameworks to maintain data privacy, security, and compliance. Establish and enforce data policies, standards, and best practices. Data Catalog on AWS: Leverage AWS services for data cataloging, storage, and management. Ensure efficient data catalog operations within the AWS ecosystem. Governance and Review: Conduct regular data governance reviews to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data governance practices. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Data Engineering Architect or in a similar role. Proficiency in data harmonization techniques and tools. Strong understanding of JSON and its applications in data communication. Experience with data cataloging and metadata management. Familiarity with AWS services, particularly related to data cataloging. Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
