Role: Automic Automation UC4 Specialist Location: Atlanta, GA Remote Duration: 6+ Months Job description: We are seeking an experienced Automic Automation UC4 Specialist to join our IT team. The specialist will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Broadcom's Automic Automation UC4 platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise job scheduling, workflow automation, and process orchestration across multi-platform environments. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Broadcom Automic Automation UC4 for enterprise-level job scheduling and automation. Design, develop, and implement automated workflows to streamline business and IT operations. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to job execution, workflow failures, and system performance. Integrate UC4 with various enterprise systems including databases, cloud services, ERP systems, and other IT infrastructure components. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather automation requirements and design workflows that meet business needs. Ensure the scalability and availability of automation processes in high-demand environments, handling thousands of tasks daily. Develop custom scripts to enhance automation functionality and meet specific requirements. Provide regular reports on job execution, performance, and system health to management. Support ongoing automation initiatives and optimize existing workflows for performance and cost-efficiency. Train internal teams on using the UC4 platform, ensuring best practices are followed for managing automation processes. Stay updated on the latest developments and updates related to Broadcom Automic Automation tools. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience in Broadcom Automic Automation UC4 Strong understanding of job scheduling, event-driven automation, and workflow orchestration. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Power, scripting) to build and maintain custom automation solutions. Experience in multi-platform environments (Windows, Linux, Unix, mainframe) for cross-system automation. Expertise in systems integration, with experience connecting automation platforms to databases, cloud services (AWS, Azure), and enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly. Experience in monitoring, reporting, and ensuring compliance with IT governance standards. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders across departments. Ability to work independently and take initiative to improve existing systems and processes. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, or Control-M. Certification in Automic Automation or related IT automation platforms. Experience in cloud automation and hybrid IT environments. Knowledge of DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
