The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to convert business requirements into actionable insights that facilitate data-driven decision-making. Will be responsible for ensuring that data is effectively modelled, easily accessible, and presented in a way that aligns with our clients' business needs. Key Result Areas and Activities: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to meet business requirements. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting needs and translate them into technical specifications. Optimize existing reports and dashboards for enhanced performance and user experience. Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of reports to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Stay informed about Power BI features and best practices to deliver cutting-edge reporting solutions. Provide production support for existing reports and dashboards, troubleshooting any issues related to reporting solutions. Document development processes, including metadata, data models, and report design specifications. Must-Have Skills: Should have good proficiency in Power BI development projects, Snowflake along SQL, DAX, Power BI Report builder Should be able to design and implement data models to support reporting and analytics, including the creation of semantic models Should be able to develop interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to troubleshoot data discrepancy issues Should be able to develop and maintain semantic models to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions, give recommendations. Ensure the performance optimization and scalability of Power BI solutions Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members MicroStrategy to Power BI migration experience highly desired Retail domain knowledge is a huge plus Experience of working with Agile BE Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or other technical disciplines..
