Active Directory Engineer Contract C2C/w2/1099 Only USC GCEAD H4EAD TN No GC Responsibilities : 1. Design, deploy, and manage complex Active Directory environments. 2. Implement and maintain Group Policies to enforce security standards and compliance requirements. 3. Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions within Active Directory. 4. Monitor and troubleshoot Active Directory replication, DNS, and authentication issues. 5. Plan and execute Active Directory migrations, upgrades, and consolidation projects. 6. Develop and maintain Power scripts for automating routine tasks and reporting. 7. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Active Directory with various systems and applications. 8. Perform regular security assessments and implement measures to protect Active Directory from cyber threats. 9. Provide technical expertise and support to junior engineers and IT support staff. 10. Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to Active Directory and identity management. Qualifications : 1. Minimum of [10~12] years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing Active Directory environments in enterprise environments. 2. In-depth knowledge of Active Directory architecture, including domains, forests, trusts, and replication. 3. Proficiency in Power scripting for automation and administration tasks. 4. Experience with Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Azure Active Directory (AAD), and hybrid identity management solutions. 5. Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and Kerberos. 6. Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex Active Directory issues. 7. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate are a plus. 8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
