Job Title: Data Quality and Testing Engineer Location: Bellevue, WA/Overland Park, KS Onsite) Type: Contract Experience Range: 10+ Years Role Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality and Testing Engineer with 6-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity, performance, and reliability of our data pipelines. The ideal candidate will establish a test framework for auditing, error logging, and master data management. You will be responsible for testing data pipelines, investigating data anomalies, and writing infrastructure as code (IaC) to deploy changes to the cloud. Collaboration with cross-functional teams on the analysis, architecture, design, and development of data warehouse and business analytics solutions is also a key part of this position. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive test framework for auditing, error logging, and master data management for data pipelines. Collaborate with data engineers and architects to design, analyze, and implement data warehouse and business analytics solutions. Test data pipelines, identify, and resolve data anomalies to ensure data quality and reliability. Write infrastructure as code to automate and deploy changes to cloud environments. Utilize SQL, Python, and AWS tools (Aurora DB, Redshift) to perform data validation and transformation tasks. Adhere to Agile and DevOps principles, contributing to CI/CD pipeline processes. Work with large-scale, complex datasets and ensure optimal data management practices. Monitor and enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of data deliveries in data engineering processes. Participate in data governance activities, ensuring compliance with data management standards and practices. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. 6-8 years of experience working with data engineering, ETL processes, and data quality/testing. Strong technical skills in SQL, AWS (Aurora DB, Redshift), and ETL frameworks. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, along with experience in relevant data technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Spark). Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with Agile methodologies. Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts, data modeling, and architecture frameworks. Proven ability to work with large-scale, complex datasets and enterprise-level systems. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
