We are looking for a Sr. Data Analyst / Data Warehouse Consultant with experience in Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) environments. This could include any relevant Public Safety and Justice experience at the City, County, State or Federal level i.e. Police, Sheriff's Office, Judicial/Courts, Jails, Probation, etc. Candidates must be able to interview in-person - no exceptions. Candidates must be able to work onsite 100% - no exceptions. Remote or hybrid work is NOT allowed. Location: San Jose, CA 100% onsite Interview mode: 1st round Skype, 2nd round in-person Duration: 12+ months Position Title: Senior Data Analyst / Data Warehouse Consultant 100% onsite in San Jose, CA Interview mode: 1st round Skype, 2nd round onsite Objective: This role is focused on providing support for data engineering and analysis efforts within the Integrated Justice System and Business Intelligence (BI) Platform Modernization projects. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop relational data models, including conceptual, logical, and physical models Map user interfaces to database fields to support development teams. Develop and design reports and dashboards and assist in their transition to production. Conduct peer reviews and provide constructive recommendations. Document processes, including knowledge capture and creation of diagrams. Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement workarounds or fixes as needed. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally, both with peers and occasionally with stakeholders. Required Skills & Tools: 3+ years of experience with Relational Proficiency in Microsoft SQL SSIS, SSAS, SSRS. 5+ years of experience working with Power BI Report Server and Power BI Service. Strong understanding of CJIS, public safety, and justice systems, along with associated datasets. Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering), or equivalent work experience.
