Job Description : Note: Must have Experience with modernizing legacy mainframe applications. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and other relevant technologies. - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables. - Optimize application performance and ensure compliance with industry standards. - Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing best practices and technical expertise. - Participate in project planning, estimating effort, and scheduling work. - Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures. - Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in mainframe development. **Qualifications:** - 10+ years of experience in mainframe application development. - Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and other mainframe technologies. - Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and data processing. - Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a collaborative team environment. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with modernizing legacy mainframe applications. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. - Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus.
