Role :: SAP APO & IBP Consultant Location :: Remote Duration :: 12 Months Job Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP APO & IBP Consultant to join our supply chain management team. This role is responsible for managing and enhancing SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) and SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of both platforms to optimize our forecasting, demand planning, supply network planning, and inventory management processes. This is a strategic position that will drive key business outcomes in our end-to-end supply chain planning operations. Key Responsibilities SAP APO & IBP Implementation and Support Lead end-to-end implementation, upgrade, and support of SAP APO modules (DP, SNP, PP/DS, GATP) and SAP IBP. Design, configure, and customize solutions in SAP APO and SAP IBP based on business requirements. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within APO and IBP modules to ensure system performance and data accuracy. Demand & Supply Planning Collaborate with stakeholders to develop accurate demand forecasts and supply plans, leveraging APO DP and IBP Demand modules. Optimize supply chain planning through IBP modules, including S&OP, Response & Supply, and Inventory Optimization. Use analytics and reporting tools to develop actionable insights from data for decision-making. Process Improvement & Optimization Identify and drive improvements in supply chain planning, inventory management, and network optimization using SAP tools. Ensure seamless data integration between APO, IBP, and other SAP systems, such as S/4HANA, ECC, and BW. Support key business processes like Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) by aligning operational plans with financial goals. Training and Documentation Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and best practices. Train end-users and business teams on SAP APO and IBP functionalities, ensuring efficient use of systems and processes. Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Information Technology, or related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP APO and SAP IBP. Strong background in supply chain planning, forecasting, and optimization processes. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP APO modules (DP, SNP, PP/DS, GATP) and SAP IBP modules (Demand, Response & Supply, Inventory Optimization, S&OP). Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW, and integration tools like CPI-DS or SDI. Familiarity with data analytics tools and technologies such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
