Leads problem solving of engineering issues. Expert in CANalyzer, Somat, Dewsoft. Responsible for EV vehicle testing and troubleshooting. Manages gate reviews for programs from concept charter thru Job1 Manages validation planning and execution including engine and vehicle builds. Responsible for managing multiple projects and leading technical and analytical discussions with cross functional teams. Responsible for understanding the end goal of the vehicle and features to develop the most optimized validation plan for each project. Minimum Requirements Bachelors degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science At least 5 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience Desired Skills Aptitude for troubleshooting issues in an ambiguous environment. Ability to identify root cause, contain, and permanently correct engineering issues. EV and/or Diesel experience is highly preferred. Strong communication skills in-person, on the phone, and by email. Well-versed in commercial class 8 fleet trucks, trailers, and on-highway norms. Knowledgeable of DoT requirements. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Familiar with Calibration tools like INCA and Canalyzer. Familiar with performing software updates with service tools like Cummins InSIte, SDS, or other service tools. Familiar with CAN based datalinks and communication protocols.
