Please do not submit candidates with over 5 years of IT experience, as we/Client cannot consider them Title: SQL Server Database Administrator/Data Developer Contract to hire: 6 months Visa: US Citizen or Green Card Holder Location: Remote- EST, CST candidates preferred Resources must have health plan experience Required Experience: Bachelors degree or higher in Information Systems or related field. 3 years of experience in MS SQL Server Administration and development is required. Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization for a large-scale data warehouse. Experience installing and configuring new SQL servers (preferably SQL Server 2016/2017 and above), and some experience in Azure or AWS cloud computing is preferred. Experience with backups, restores, security audits/access control, recovery models, Disaster Recovery Options (DR), database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, and Database Replication. Experience in writing complex SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation. Understanding Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, Indexes, and Views is essential. SQL Server/MS SQL is their core with ETL. They use Verscape (Data Warehousing Loads), SSIS, and Alteryx (Auditing). Any one of these is acceptable.
