Role Overview: As the Web & Application Administrator, youll be responsible for supporting commercial cloud customers on Microsoft Azure (DOD), assisting enterprise application owners in migrating and sustaining their systems. Youll deliver end-to-end web and application administration services, focusing on security, scalability, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on web and application architecture, developing optimized deployment solutions in Azure using cloud-native database services. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate technical objectives into actionable requirements. Design, build, and maintain web/application infrastructure, ensuring seamless installations, patching, upgrades, and STIG compliance. Support customer developers with regular code deployments and project releases. Identify and recommend new cloud services and improvements in security and scalability. Qualifications: Bachelors degree with 12+ years of experience or Masters degree with 10+ years of experience in a related field. Proficiency with SQL web and application administration, including tools such as IIS, Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, or JBOSS. Fundamental knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration. Experience managing large-scale projects and building CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Containers, Gitlab, Azure DevOps, and automation tools (Power, Ansible, Terraform, etc.). Working knowledge of DoD STIGs, IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM), and a CompTIA Security+ certification (or equivalent).
