Role: Salesforce Reporting & Dashboard Developer Location: Detroit, MI (Only Locals or Nearby) Duration: Contract Experience: 10+ years Visa : Only H1B with Passport Number Role Description: Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Reporting & Dashboard Developer to join our team and drive data-driven insights by developing, implementing, and optimizing Salesforce reports and dashboards. This role requires a strong understanding of Salesforces reporting capabilities and data visualization techniques to support critical business decision-making. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce reports and dashboards to meet business requirements. Work with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy. Create dynamic and visually impactful dashboards, using Salesforces native tools and additional visualization techniques as needed. Identify trends, insights, and actionable information from Salesforce data, enhancing operational and strategic planning. Support data integrity efforts by regularly auditing data quality and collaborating with data management teams. Implement best practices for report scheduling, sharing, and performance optimization within Salesforce. Collaborate with stakeholders to train and educate end-users on report and dashboard functionalities. Maintain and troubleshoot reporting and dashboard functionalities, including modifications, enhancements, and documentation. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) as a Salesforce Reporting & Dashboard Developer or similar role. Strong knowledge of Salesforce Lightning Report Builder and Dashboard capabilities. Experience working with Salesforce data management tools and techniques. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce Lightning, Salesforce Classic (if applicable), and SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language). Familiarity with Salesforces standard and custom objects, field types, and relationships. Knowledge of Salesforce security settings, sharing rules, and role hierarchies to manage report and dashboard access. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets and present them in a user-friendly and insightful manner. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder). Experience with additional data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
