Job Title: Cloud Solutions Architect Location: Richmond, VA 23219 (Hybrid) Job Type: 12 Months Contract and Extendable **Local candidates only Skill (Must Haves) Enterprise-level application design and integration Cloud applications (Azure preferred) SaaS architecture Integration architecture Agile methodologies (SAFe and Scrum) Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Esri ArcGIS Qualifications Strong background in SAFe architecture and experience working with Agile/Scrum teams. Demonstrated expertise in enterprise and solution-level architectural design. Experience linking cross-functional applications across disparate business units and systems. Proficiency in business and technical requirements analysis, process modeling, methodology development, and data mapping. Knowledge of relational database design and management. Project management skills and experience with project-based work structures and lifecycle models. Solid understanding of system and software quality assurance practices. Competency with XML constructs and schemas. Familiarity with API protocols such as SOAP and REST. Strong understanding of end-user needs and requirements. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Role Responsibilities Design and implement application and solution architectures, component designs, and systems integrations for specific business solutions. L efforts in defining, documenting, and estimating requirements for enterprise applications, covering areas such as: Data, workflow, and logical processes Hardware and OS environments, including on-premises, hybrid, and cloud setups System interfaces, checks, controls, inputs, and outputs Collaborate with IT teams to assess business needs, translating them into automated solutions. Develop and deliver solution design artifacts, including technical estimates, system designs (conceptual, logical, and physical), sequence diagrams, and data models. Coordinate new system developments to ensure consistency and integration with existing applications and COTS solutions. Analyze feasibility and compatibility with hardware and other programs; consult with clients to prototype, architect, and design applications that meet their requirements. Collaborate with business units and cross-functional Enterprise Architects to understand business needs and provide strategic advice. Partner with architects and technical teams to create roadmaps and strategies supporting agency KPIs. Design and implement Enterprise Security and technology patterns. Provide guidance on initiatives, offering architecture considerations and support for legacy solutions.
