User-Centered Design Expertise - Strong proficiency in creating user experiences that prioritize clarity, usability, and accessibility, particularly in translating complex AI functionality into understandable and intuitive interfaces. AI/ML Knowledge - A solid understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts to effectively collaborate with AI engineers and shape how AI technologies are presented and interacted with in products. Prototyping and Wireframing - Advanced skills in tools like Figma, Sketch, or similar, to create detailed prototypes and wireframes that can be tested and iterated upon in the design process. 5 to 8+ years of experience in product design or user experience (UX) design. This includes significant experience in designing complex, data-driven products and ideally some exposure to working with AI or machine learning technologies. Data Visualization - Experience designing for complex data and creating clear visualizations that help users make sense of AI-driven insights. Ethical Design Awareness - A strong grasp of ethical concerns surrounding AI, such as bias, transparency, and user privacy, with the ability to design responsibly in line with these considerations. Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly with data scientists, AI engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to product development.
