Energy bill) GOOGLE PHONE NUMBERS NOT ACCEPTED Job Overview: Our Customer is looking for an experienced AWS Migration Engineer to lead the migration of Control-M jobs to AWS. This role requires expertise in migrating and testing Control-M jobs, including Power, OS procedures, and SQL scripts for Oracle and other databases, into AWS Step Functions, AWS Batch, and Lambda. The position is based on site in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Key Responsibilities: Migration of Control-M Jobs: Migrate and thoroughly test Control-M jobs from Azure and AWS EC2 to AWS Step Functions, AWS Batch, and Lambda. Infrastructure Provisioning: Use Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and manage CI/CD pipelines. Observability & Monitoring: Develop observability capabilities to monitor the execution of migrated jobs effectively. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration and zero-downtime deployment. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve migration-related issues to ensure smooth operational transitions. Documentation: Document the migration process and best practices. Must-Have Qualifications: Control-M Expertise: Strong experience with Control-M for scheduling and managing jobs. AWS Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps: Hands-on experience with AWS, especially in a Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps capacity. Terraform: Proven proficiency in Terraform for IaC, including setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines. Power Scripting: Skilled in Power for automation and job orchestration. GitHub & GitHub Actions: Familiarity with GitHub for source control and GitHub Actions for CI/CD processes. Required Qualifications: Cloud Migration Experience: Proven track record in cloud migration projects, particularly with AWS Step Functions, Batch, and Systems Manager. Azure & AWS Knowledge: Strong understanding of both Azure and AWS ecosystems. SQL & Scheduled Jobs: Experience in managing SQL-based scheduled/cron jobs. Preferred Qualifications: AWS Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or other relevant certifications.
