Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Architect to join our team in managing one of the largest consolidated Active Directory and messaging systems in Central PA, along with multiple additional Active Directory forests. This position involves working with a robust system based on Microsoft technologies, including on-premises Exchange 2019, Windows Server 2022, 2019, and 2016, Microsoft 365, and supports over 100,000 Active Directory accounts and mailboxes. Primary Responsibilities: Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for on-premises Active Directory and Azure Active Directory environments. Serve as the Senior AD Architect, responsible for the design, implementation, and support of multi-domain directories within a high-availability environment. Lead the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans specific to Active Directory. Develop, document, and enforce standards, security procedures, and controls to ensure the integrity and security of Active Directory and related systems. Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of IT experience. Bachelors degree in a related discipline. 5-10 years of experience managing Active Directory environments across multiple sites, utilizing Windows Server 2008 or higher. Extensive knowledge of Active Directory 2016/2019/2022 infrastructure management for enterprise environments. Expertise in DNS and Key Management Service (KMS). Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). Strong Power scripting skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders professionally. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills and Certifications: Microsoft Windows Server certifications. Microsoft Core Infrastructure certification. Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator certification. Microsoft PKI and Certificate Services certification. ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations certification.
