Role: AWS Data Engineer with Python Location: Minneapolis, MN (Only Locals or nearby) Duration: Contract Experience: 10+ years Visa : Only H1B with Passport number Note: Need experience with healthcare domain in recent project Role Description: Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda). Optimize data flows and data transformation routines, ensuring data integrity and quality. Work with large-scale data storage solutions (e.g., Redshift, DynamoDB, S3) for structured and unstructured data. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to understand data needs and provide technical solutions. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data workflows to enhance productivity and reduce deployment time. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, providing solutions to ensure smooth data operation. Implement data security, access controls, and policies in line with industry best practices. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role. Strong background in Python for data engineering tasks. Proven experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Lambda, Glue, Kinesis). Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, with a focus on data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy). Strong understanding of SQL and experience with data warehousing solutions like Redshift. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git). Knowledge of orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions) is a plus. Experience with data lake and data lakehouse architectures is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
