Job Description : About the job We are looking for a skilled Senior Red Hat / LDAP Engineer to join our dynamic IT infrastructure team and help drive the banks mission to provide cutting-edge solutions in a secure and efficient environment. Summary As a Senior Red Hat / LDAP Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing, optimizing, and supporting the banks infrastructure, with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and LDAP-based identity management systems. Key Responsibilities: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Administration : Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers. Ensure RHEL systems are optimized for performance, security, and compliance. Automate tasks using scripting, Ansible, or other automation tools. Troubleshoot and resolve complex RHEL system issues related to hardware, software, and networking. LDAP Administration : Manage and support LDAP directory services (e.g., Red Hat Directory Server, OpenLDAP, or Active Directory). Design, implement, and maintain LDAP architecture for identity management and authentication. Administer user accounts, roles, permissions, and integrate LDAP with other systems like Active Directory, Kerberos, or SSO solutions. Troubleshoot LDAP replication, schema issues, and perform regular system health checks. Qualifications: Technical Skills : Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and its associated tools. Extensive hands-on experience with LDAP (Red Hat Directory Server, OpenLDAP, or similar). Solid knowledge of authentication protocols like Kerberos, SAML, and SSO. Proficient in scripting (Bash, Perl) and experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet). Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus. Experience : 5+ years of experience in a Linux/UNIX environment, specifically with RHEL and LDAP. Experience with enterprise-level directory services and integration with various applications and platforms. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex, distributed systems.
